Data Collection

When you sign in to VuRad using Google, we use Google OAuth for authentication. We only request the following scopes:

• openid
• profile
• email

From these scopes, we receive your Google account's:

• Email address
• Name
• Profile picture (if available)

We do not request or access your emails, contacts, calendar, or any other Google data outside of the scopes listed above.

How We Use Data

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate you and maintain your session in VuRad
• Personalize your experience (for example, showing your name and avatar)
• Associate your saved searches, domain insights, and other activity with your account
• Improve and monitor the reliability, performance, and security of VuRad

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may use aggregated, anonymized analytics to understand usage patterns and improve our products.

Data Storage and Security

VuRad uses Supabase as our primary data storage and authentication platform. Your account information and related application data are stored in Supabase databases in a secure, access-controlled environment.

We implement industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and role-based access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

User Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

• Access the personal information we store about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to our legal obligations)
• Withdraw your consent to processing where applicable
